Christmas Eve Babysitting :)

We have some great friends that work at Steels Jewelry (an awesome jewelry store here in town).  Each year, Christmas time is their BUSIEST time of year, and we like to help them out with their kiddos.  They have three and the oldest is six, so I am sure it's tough working so much this time of year and trying to find sitters for them.  We offered to help out anytime they needed, and it worked out so great this year that we did my parents' Christmas a day early (we usually do their Christmas on Christmas Eve), because they said that Christmas Eve was their biggest need!
We were so happy to be able to help, and happy that our kiddos could hang out with their friends :)
Here are some pics from the day of fun!
Started off the day by letting the kiddos pick out some Donuts from Daylight Donuts

and for the adults...

Shelby and Stevie are only about 4 months apart, they play really well together and are in the same class at church

Titus was the "task" for the day,,,most often Seth or I would have all the "kids" and the other one would be entertaining Tyty,,yes, he IS that much work, ha!

But he is totally worth it ;-)

We brought over a gingerbread village to put together with the kids

It was fun, but pretty short lived, due to the fact that it collapsed :(

So we all headed outside to play, they have such a nice backyard!

future husband and wife cooking in the kitchen

the motorized cars were a pretty big hit, we may need to invest in one soon :)

her new "face" to do in pics,

Group shot of all 6 kiddos!

Make a funny face :)

We played outside for nearly TWO hours, the weather felt so nice and the kiddos were having so much fun!

Then we went inside, blared Christmas music and cleaned up a bit
Stevie Joy found a nice comfy spot next to the cd player and took a little break from running around to read some of the Steel's books

all because of this, ha!

The kiddos enjoyed their pizza, then we "tapped out" and turned on a movie, so we could "unwind" a bit, probably more for the adults than them, hahaha,,,Nicole's sister came and relieved us around one so we could take our kids home for naps.  It was a lot of fun and I am so glad that we were able to help out our friends, we feel so blessed in return :)
