This past weekend we had the privilege of going to Atlanta and being a part of an amazing wedding for some dear friends of ours (Will and Erinn). Seth and Will grew up together since they were both babies. Will asked Seth to be a groomsmen and we have been looking forward to this wedding for a long time!!!
We left Friday morning and just let me tell ya it was cRaZy getting everyone packed up and out of here!!
It was all totally worth it though :)
We arrived in just the knick of time Friday afternoon for the rehearsal (like, we were the last ones to show up, we got lost and didn't factor in Atlanta traffic, ooops!).
After the rehearsal, we rushed over to our hotel to check in and change clothes then rushed back over to the rehearsal dinner and again were the last ones there :-/ BUT this was the last thing we were late to an event for the whole weekend (we both hate being late to things).
The rehearsal dinner was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!
It was so funny because I asked the lady sitting next to me, Jennifer, to take this pic of Seth, Olive and I and when she was done she said, "You probably want me to take it again!". Hahaha, I am totally use to all of our family being in the pic where the rule is "if we are all seen in the pic it's a good pic" ha! I totally have no high expectations for any picture being taken of us anymore, so I guess that's why I thought this was a good pic of us.
There were a couple of toasts and speeches
I always love when my man gets up and entertains, he told some great stories of him and Will growing up
After the rehearsal, we went back to the hotel and Seth helped me get settled in with Rocket and then he went out with the boys to PARTAY for the bachelor party :)
So I got to co-sleep with my sweet little babe
Just her and I in the huge, comfy king size bed!!
The next day we slept in (well til like 9:00, but still that's legit!) and then hit up the complimentary breakfast. We hung around for a little while then Olive and Seth took a nap and I went down stairs and laid out for a little while,,,and I got my tan on :)
I came back up in time to feed Olive and take a few pics of her (the lighting was so pretty)
I never get tired of taking pics of my little Olive!
Seth tie dyed this little blankie for her a few days ago, it's so pretty!
I am in LOVE with this shot of her!!
I love her little eye brows and her cheekies :)
okay, okay back to the point ;)
Then ~wedding time~
We got ready and headed over
We had no clue how the traffic would be and since we were so late to everything the day before we were determined to not be late anymore.
Since we got there early, we walked around the pretty garden and did a little sight seeing and of course some picture taking :)
Seth took lots of pictures with the groomsmen and Olive and I enjoyed each other and meeting new people.
Then came the big moment and Erinn looked AMAZING!!
This was such a dream wedding everything was so perfect:
The reception was so so so much fun!
We really did party the night away!
The band was SO cool!
Olive slept in the sling for a loooong time. It was funny to me because one guy said, "Man, you have the best party baby, she is so chilled!"
Another funny thing about this reception, was that a lot of young men were interested in my decision to breast feed my child? what? I didn't even know guys cared about this???
We were able to stay to til the end (which rarely ever happens), and saw the bride and groom off with glow sticks (super fun!). And one last surprise was an ice cream truck at the end of the reception where the bride and groom climbed in and handed out ice cream cones to all the guests that were still there, how cute!
The whole weekend was a lot of fun and we are so incredibly thankful for everyone that made it possible for us to be able to go!!
Having the three of you there to celebrate with us was so very very special. We love you!!
