Fun Christmas Weekend

Megows know how to celebrate Christmas (lots of Christmas festivities of course)!

This past weekend in pics

We were riding through down town to a thrift store and ran into Santa :)
He  was soooo kind and sweet, best I've ever seen! and he LOVED our large family,,he said it over and over! Some people almost seem disgusted by big families (crazy to me, but), so it was a nice change to have someone so accepting and loving!

While we were down town we visited the little area that had the pups from the Humane Society and
Neela Grace fell in love with a few pups (multiple times, ha!).
She had a straight up meltdown when we left, Seth said one lady even cried and said, "I will buy her a dog!"
We were laughing so hard (great parents, huh?) :)

We ate some Wendy's then headed home for some afternoon naps.
Also, Seth took the girls to the store (sometimes they don't nap on the weekends, they get Daddy time), to buy supplies to go in gift bags we are putting together for some kids up at the hospital.  Our girls were happy to give, and give cheerfully.

After naps we hit up the Christmas parade.
{if you look closely, you can see our first "house" in the background, it's the green one}
We love that house and we like driving by it and feeling all nostalgic.

It was so so cool! I loved the floats that lit up with Christmas lights.
The kids were pretty much all about the candy.
Even if it was candy they didn't like (peppermints), there was just something about having candy THROWN
at you to get you pumped :)

Sunday we served in church nursery, ate lunch with our church family, naps, then took an afternoon stroll to deliver some Poinsettias to our sweet Granny Amy, who lives a few blocks down.

Called it a day early and put the kids down early, and I headed out to spend time with my super awesome, spirit filled, funny, pretty, super friend LIZ!!!!!  I could seriously live with her! She's so so great!
We had a blast!!!!!! Repeat, please.
