Mr. Titus has been sick this week. He has an upper respiratory infection, YUCK! When he is sick, he is more prone to having a seizure, double yuck!!
This is how he looked Tuesday morning when he woke up, I pretty much KNEW it was going to be a rough day!!!!
Super duper sad! He is still pretty sick, and has had 3 seizures 3 days in a row! As a mom to a very new baby (2 weeks old), this has been a pretty stressful week. Seth and I are both fasting this week, praying to get some answers for Titus. We are looking into going to Augusta for a second opinion from a specialist (a pediatric neurologist).
Thankfully, the big girls have been soooo great this week! Actually, when the paramedics were here on Tuesday, Stevie Joy would NOT leave Titus's side!! She said she was praying for him. Bless her heart, she is so great!
Seth came home from work early on Tuesday. I was so emotionally drained and felt super anxious, sad, overwhelmed, mostly sad! After his seizure on Tuesday, Titus cried super super hard for almost a whole hour! I have never ever seen him cry like this, I eventually just bust out into tears myself, praying that Jesus would just heal him!! Of course SJ was right there next to me, stroking Titus's locks with me, and giving him kisses on the cheek. She really has been so great through all of this. It's tough for me with her because my desire is to homeschool my children, but at the moment with Titus, just surviving the day is a huge accomplishment, literally! I feel the most guilt with her! Not really so much with Olive, nor Neela, just Stevie Joy. Olive and Neela don't need as much, as I feel like Stevie Joy needs at this age. I guess I feel most kids her age are in "school" and I don't want to hold her back from anything or put her at a disadvantage. Seth has been super supportive saying that she is so smart and that I AM doing a great job and that if she happens to get behind a little academically that we can catch her up in Kindergarten when she starts legit homeschooling. I know he is right, but I still feel guilty :(
She is very imaginative and is so wonderful about playing by herself
Or with her sidekick, Yucky
categorized all her little toys into groups :)
On a happier note,,,Seth took the girls to pick up a swing for Rocket, and here is how awesome they were dressed, ha! We had just been hanging around the house all day when they decided to load up and go :)
"Hey, it's Fred!" (her shirt, he's a youtube guy)
My silly girls, I love how BFF's they are! One of the top 5 reasons we want to homeschool, a close knit family!
We managed to still get SJ to Dance class Tuesday night, she requested to be a Lion King ballerina, Seth dropped her off, but Rocket and I picked her up,,,I wanted to show the baby off :)
and last but not least, I finally felt that my roots were important enough to do something about, also, it was a nice way to help get my mind of things. It was pretty hilarious, I ended up bringing a mirror outside and doing my hair in the back yard while the kids ran around and played,,,hahaha, I wasn't sure if it was the most redneck thing I had ever done, the coolest thing I had ever done, most practical,,,the list goes on and on,,,I am still pretty amazed :)
Wait, no not done yet,,,gotta have a pic of Rocket on this post too :)
Seth just finished her baby announcements this week, and they are oh so cute!! :)
I love my creative helpful hubby so so much! Let's just round things off with a wonderful, wonderful pic of him :)
This was back in the day, when I was about 20 weeks preggers with Stevie Joy,,,I miss Sethie's long hair!!
I think a second opinion coukd really help!!!!! I am so sad for you that you have all of this to deal with when you should be loving on your sweet babies!! Praying for you and can't wait to see the announcement! And officially meet olive someday too dang it!!!!!
