While I Cook :)

In order to get things done (like cooking, cleaning, etc.)

it's a pretty tiring "job" army crawling around everywhere, so often she needs a break and sits in her jumper

Titus really enjoys the arts and crafts room! Here's what Buddy typically does while I cook (if I am lucky), LOTS of times, he just asks for 15 pops!!!!!!

then, I give in and can stand it anymore and need to hold that baby ;)

all while mixing, stirring, serving ;)

and then wa-la,,,dinner is served :)

(Titus makes fun of people so much when they put their elbows on the table, it's so funny to me!!)

 

It's a balancing act around here when it comes time to cook, but thankfully the babies are easily entertained and my hubby doesn't expect *too* much out of dinner :)

        A little background info on the Title of our family blog.  It's named after
        this song.  We find it fitting and fun!


Ira D. Ogdon (1872-1964) was a public school teacher who had plans for an evangelistic career. She abandoned that dream to care for her ailing father. In 1913, Ogdon wrote Brighten the Corner Where You Are to remind Christians that the pulpit and the mission field were not the only places one might make a difference for the Kingdom of God.

Weekend Recap!

Saturday morning looked like this:

it got hot out: (hahaha)

then we cleaned out the long-over-due-for-a-cleaning-mini-van:

seriously, how did we even fit this much crap in there?

after naps, we enjoyed a backyard cookout at some of our friends' house

(seriously, look at Stevie, my kids are like their daddy and cannot handle the heat!)

the Popperts went above and beyond and blessed us so much! 

The James were over too, between our 3 fams we have 10 kiddos total  all 5 years of age and under,

 it was CRUNK :)

Sunday we attended a fabulous church service and since

we were all semi color coordinated (not even on purpose, might I add)

I got Lizzie to snap a few pics of us

so close to a perfect family photo, but Titus isn't smiling, ugh!

we were joking for Liz (whom I like to call Granny) to get in the pic with us, 

lol, she didn't get the joke, hahaha

mini imprompto photo shoot to show off my fabulous hair and my new fav dress!

but still happy and content

and then the whole reason that I brought my camera to church in the first place...

I wanted to get a recent pics of these cuties together since us mommies were all preggers together

It was a great weekend! The girls had a friend over that evening to finish off the weekend right!

Titus helped with the cookies like a good little brother should ;)

Olive is 7 Months

I seriously cannot believe that my little tiny "Rocket" is now 7 months old!

She is getting sweeter and prettier everyday :)

She ended up in her "army crawl" position (typical for her!)

she is scooting around everywhere now, and will even get up on her knees and rock, the girl will be crawling soon I just know it!

She has a very precious little smile!

Olive for real lights up a room and I love that about her.

My favorite of her this month!

This little tiny baby is such a joy!

We all love her so so much!
