Packing with Four Kids

Friends/Family:  "So how is packing going?"

Me:  "What packing?" lol!!!

The other day, I packed up some of the girls' clothes, then walked into my room to this:

BABY POWDER everywhere!!!!

The kids: "Mommy, we made it snow, it was so cool, you should've been here!"

the little bandit ;)

Seriously, the packing is coming along fairly well.
What a first world problem to complain about:
"Ugh! We have this perfect brand new house to move into, with running water, great community, and great schools, and we have so much nice stuff that it's a pain to pack it all up and move it!".
I feel bad complaining, but....well..... ;)

Olive Hope is 8 months!

Miss Olive is 8 months!
She has become quite the character!
She hisses like a cat all the time (which is hilarious considering that our cat did give birth on top of her a while back). hahaha

She was a little messy because she had just gotten through eating, but I want some "real life" pics of her for her monthly pics too ;)

some out takes:

she is so incredibly twisty/squirmy
and loves to be on her belly crawling
She still cannot sit on her own, because she never ever tries, she only wants to crawl when I put her down (which is still not very often, I love holding her)

she's crazy, and SUCH a dare devil ;)

Miss Hope had a great month!
She sleeps great, eats great, and is a great joy to  be around and LOVES people almost as much as her mommy does!

She is enjoying being the baby while it lasts ;)

Sometimes...

Sometimes my kids get along wonderfully.....

...and sometimes not ;)

Sometimes we have those awesome days where by 11:00 everyone has had
breakfast
prayers to start the day
learning time
chores
independent play time

and sometimes....

we just lay in bed and embrace our super technology world!

Days where we let go and let God!
Days where I intentionally spend more time in the Realm than here, hahaha.   Where I like to embrace the moment of calmness and the fact that there is no where that we have to be or need to be.
I count it a great joy to pour into these little loves of mine!

Sunshine n Spaghetti

Our beautiful, fun, sweet friend April (whom we like to call Sunshine), came over the other day for some hangout time n some spaghetti :)

Titus loves her baby, Josie Bell!  He insisted on sitting next to her during dinner.

Sunshine!

After dinner we took a walk on the farm and picked some wild flowers.
The light was really pretty, so I asked April to snap a few pics for us.

My friend, Liz, loves these kinds of pics where it really looks like "real life" so I thought I would give it a try,
you know Titus naked as normal, Seth frustrated about taking a picture, Olive ready to go down for a nap, Stevie and Neela acting like there are magnets in between them because they prefer to always be next to one another, and me (greasy hair, t-shirt, and short shorts, ha!).

Seth took the whole "just act natural" a bit far, I mean what is he even doing hunched over like this, hahaha!

returning the favor, getting a few pics of April with her Josie

they are both so pretty!

last pic before heading back up to the house :)
It was suppose to be a pic of us with our kiddos, but Titus and Josie took off in the power wheels, classic.

The kids had a great time playing together:

We wore Miss Neela out, we found her like this on the couch:

We love April and Josie Bell so much.  They even stayed and had Bible time and prayer time with us as a family.  No one even thought it was out of the ordinary for them to be cuddled up on the girls' bed with our fam praying, singing, and reading :)  It was a great night.

Weekend Recap

We had a nice weekend around here this past weekend.
It was a nice combination of fun, relaxing, and brain organizing the pack in our heads.

We baked pumpkin cookies Friday night

patiently waiting on the cookies to finish baking

Saturday the kids' friend, Sam stayed the night and we sang some karaoke!

dancing to brother's singing

helping me out with a feeding ;)

love this one
they all get along so great (for the most part)

He loves having a boy around

Get ready for some cute baby pictures overload

Olive's little curls are coming in, so sweet

we made the kids go to bed early that night (I know, makes for a lame slumber party, but everyone was really tired)

After the kids went to bed, I went and met up with Kelly (a blog friend, turned IRL friend) and Emily at the Mix for some frozen yogurt.  It was so nice to sit and chat for a while.  We talked about everything,,God, our husbands, our kids, etc.  Pretty sure we closed.that.place.down :)

The next morning, we had breakfast and I made the kids a scavenger hunt to do around the house, for some reason they LOVE these hunts, hahaha.

We went to church, home for l-o-n-g naps, then over to my parents for a bit.

It was a nice weekend and we really didn't do that much, but somehow I am feeling so tired today.  I think is is all the anticipation of the move?  Anyone wanna help pack or entertain some kids? We need the help!
