Olive One Year Party

Dang, I have been sa~laaaack on the blogging lately.  I blame it ALL on instagram.

It's so much easier to stay connected.

Anyways, I am catching up now!!

For Olive's 1st birthday party we decided to do a small just-our-family breakfast party.

She is happiest in the mornings and we love doing a big breakfast on Saturday mornings so it worked out well. :)  We hadn't seen our Cousin Parker in a while, so we had plans to invite him over this morning already, and since it was Olive's birthday, we just decided to do a party,,I know, we're random like that ;)

We decorated the house before she got up,,here is her sweet little surprised face:

We did a cinnamon roll cake (Seth's idea, super cute)

I did a Minnie Mouse party the day before (I work for a costume shop part time on the side), and decided it would be cute to just hang onto the costume to surprise Olive with it :)

The rest of the day was spent pretty low key.

Olive took her morning nap and I went down (as Minnie) to our neighbor's house to let them see Minnie

For the rest of the day, Olive enjoyed playing with her balloon (she LOVES helium balloons)

 

we all played outside a whole bunch, and were sure to give Olive LOTS of extra love and attention!!!

The party was so great! It was just perfect for her!!

She loved all her little presents that her brother and sisters picked out just for her AND she loved all the quality time she got with everyone!!

We love this baby girl to the moon and back!!!
